Bayu Folk-custom Culture Village

Chongqing Bayu Folk-custom culture village, only 21km from Chongqing Airport, is located in the east of Shuanglong Road, in the development area of Lianglu town, Yubei District. It is linked to Bijin Park in the north and to Shuanglong Lake in the south. The village expresses the character and culture of CQ folk-customs. The whole village covers and area of 85 mu, with luxuriant trees and flowers blooming pieces of brocade scattered about. The folk –custom yards and other structures are hidden amongst the lush foliage. The sight of whitewashed bamboo fences around thatched cottages, help visitors to relax and forget about the care of the world.

One gallery, four yards, one temple and one memorial archway form the main body of the whole tourist spot. The attractions include a chain bridge, a square, a lake, a courtyard, a tea house and winding paths and the folk-custom street. All these bring about the best in each other. With rich and colorful contents and great original layout, it may be rated as the most valuable scenic spot in the suburb of Chongqing.
